2nd Block Party is coming up soon!

The Cameron Street Block Club
is happy to add our support
to Valerie's wonderfully fun
CAMERON STREET BLOCK PARTY!

Saturday, June 23rd, 2012
from 9am to 9pm

I will donate my face-painting skills from
9:30am to 11:30am!
We have a birthday party to attend on that same day...
but I didn't want to miss out on all the fun!

Valerie will have "bouncy castles"
for the young children! Hurray!
(Parents - please stay and watch your child!:)
We all want to have a great time, and help insure
that there are no injuries! Thanks!)

Please bring a dish to pass,
as well as a fun-loving attitude! :)

Update:
A great time was had by all!
I face-painted in two sessions that day, and the children were very well-behaved, as expected! :)

Ms. Valerie arranged another wonderful party, and we are all very grateful to have her as a good neighbor on our street!
THANK YOU, Ms. Valerie!

Our New Signs!

These new signs look GREAT!

They really help to foster a patriotic unity for all of our wonderful and varied ethnic backgrounds, as in "The Great American Melting Pot" from the Schoolhouse Rock days! The messages on the signs are revered across all of our heritages, and help to teach our children these common values on a daily basis.

"Thank You" to the Rochester Area Community Foundation's NeighborGood Grant!

The neighbors have had positive comments, and really like them!

I hope more folks will be inspired to get involved, and help make our street, and area, even better! :)

2011 BLOCK PARTY!!!!!!

The Cameron Street Block Club is participating in Valerie's BLOCK PARTY on Saturday, June 11th, 2011.

Bring a dish to pass, and share in some friendly conversation as we mingle with the neighbors!

I'll be face painting for our children under 13 years of age!

Come out and have fun! :)

Amendment: The block party was actually held on June 25th, due to inclement weather on the 11th.

Many children were in attendance, and greatly enjoyed the activities!

"Thank You" to Valerie for leading such a fun event!
